Yuck's Frontman Daniel Blumberg Leaves Band

Despite the high praise that Yuck received for its eponymous debut album, a robust collection of songs that recalled '90s bands like Madder Rose and My Bloody Valentine, it looks like frontman Daniel Blumberg won't be around for the group's second album. Yuck has announced on Facebook that Blumberg has left the band.

Watch Cat Power Perform New Song, 'Bully'

Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall,  took six years to release 2012's Sun, but earlier this week the singer performed a new song on the BBC's "Later Live ... with Jools Holland." The spare, sharp track, called "Bully," has made appearances in Cat Power sets as well, a starker counterpoint to the lush production embracing the songs of Sun. Jay-Z's Made In America Festival returns to Philadelphia this summer with a lineup that includes — an easy booking for Jay — wife Beyoncé and his sister-in-law Solange as well as the resurrected Nine Inch Nails, Queen of the Stone Age, Phoenix, Public Enemy, Empire of the Sun, the Black Hippy crew (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock), Miguel, AlunaGeorge, HAIM, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and more. Tickets for the festival, which takes place on Labor Day weekend, are on sale now.

Everything Everything: TAS In Session

Playing a triumphant gig at New York's Bowery Ballroom last month, Everything Everything deftly proved their mettle as one of Britain's most thrilling young bands, assertively leaping from arena-worthy anthems ("Duet") to tonque-twisting raps ("Photoshop Handsome") to soulful stretches of dystopian angst ("The Peaks"). Phoenix Plays Free Show At Music Hall Of Williamsburg On April 5

Phoenix, set for Coachella next weekend, will play a free warm-up show at Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight, April 5, at 6 p.m. According to the band's Facebook page, a limited number of entry wristbands are available at the MHOW box office from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. EDT. First come first served. Phoenix release Bankrupt! in the States on April 23 (April 22 in the UK/EU).
