North Carolina folkies Bowerbirds are making a meaningful return with their third album, The Clearing. The duo of Phil Moore and Beth Tacular endured some personal and medical travails following the release of 2009's Upper Air but persevered, releasing their graceful new record earlier this year. The Alternate Side is giving away tickets to see Bowerbirds, joined by Basia Bulat and Midtown Dickens, at Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 23.
