Wild Flag, the cool-girl supergroup of former members of Sleater-Kinney, Helium and Minders, release their vivacious debut album on September 13 on Merge and even made an album trailer with delectable morsels from a generous handful of tracks like "Glass Tambourine" and "Something Came Over Me." There's some archery and bare chests involved too, but it's all SFW. Catch Wild Flag play Williamsburg Waterfront on August 12 and download the band's first single, "Romance."

Wild Flag Prepare Debut Album, Set Tour Dates

The super ladies of supergroup Wild Flag - Carrie Brownstein, Mary Timony, Rebecca Cole and Janet Weiss - will release their self-titled debut through  Merge Records on September 13 with a first single, "Romance," to precede the release. Tour dates are also set for the summer and fall, with Wild Flag opening for Sonic Youth on August 12 at Brooklyn's Williamsburg Waterfront.
