We Were Promised Jetpacks: TAS In Session

One of the biggest (and oldest) New Year's Eve celebrations in the world, Scotland's Hogmanay, raucously marks the end of the old year and the beginning of the new (and Scotland even has their very own bank holiday for much-needed, post-Hogmanay recovery). TAS Interview: Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit

Scottish rockers Frightened Rabbit hit a slight volcanic hitch delaying their North American tour - they were stranded at Heathrow Airport for days, wryly tweeting of their discontent. Recently, The Alternate Side caught up with singer and songwriter Scott Hutchison who revealed his sunnier aspirations for the band's third album, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, and admitted that the best advice he's ever received was "don't be bitter." Even over Icelandic volcanos.
