Win Tix For Northside Festival's Guided By Voices, Wavves and Surfer Blood Show

The Northside Festival is next week and the event's organizers have kindly given The Alternate Side a handful of tickets to give away for their great show with Guided By Voices, Wavves, Surfer Blood and The Babies at McCarren Park on June 18.  That's just a taste of some of the eclectic and excellent  bands playing venues throughout Brooklyn from June 16-19.

Brooklyn's Coney Island will be a rock 'n' roll mecca on July 17 thanks to the return of the Village Voice's Siren Festival, celebrating its tenth anniversary with a lineup that includes The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Matt and Kim, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, Surfer Blood and Harlem.
