Oxford folk rockers Stornoway, whose lush 2010 debut, Beachcomber's Windowsill, earned them a batch of Stateside fans, return this month for an array of North American dates, like the upcoming Sasquatch Music Festival in Gorge, WA on May 30. The band will stop at Music Hall of Williamsburg a few days before, on May 26, and The Alternate Side is offering up free tickets for a few lucky winners.

Evolving from a Teenage Fanclub cover band to one of the most promising English groups to come out of Oxford in recent years (also home to Radiohead and Foals), Stornoway are gathering critical kudos for their eclectic debut album, Beachcomber's Windowsill. The Alternate Side's Russ Borris recently met up with the lads for a session in Studio A.
