After over a decade together, Stars continue to sing about relationships in ways few other bands can. Watch Stars perform a few songs from the band's new album, The North, and listen to Millan and Campbell's conversation with Eric Holland in the WFUV archives.

No matter what your take on the loveliest - or most loveless - of days, The Alternate Side staff has pulled together some of our favorite songs that we feel express the best and worst of romance.

Notice a theme?
