Divine Fits Gets Real About A Debut Single

Divine Fits, the super trio of Spoon's Britt Daniel, former Handsome Furs and Wolf Parade member Dan Boeckner and Sam Brown of New Bomb Turks, has made their debut single, "My Love Is Real,"  available for fans' streaming pleasure if you "like" their Facebook page. The 7-inch single, backed by the non-album B-side "I Was Born In A Laundromat," will be released by Merge Records on July 31.

The silver lining in the cloudy — downright stormy —  news earlier this month that TAS favorites Handsome Furs had sadly broken up is the intriguing formation of Divine Fits, the collaboration between Dan Boeckner, ex of Handsome Furs and Wolf Parade, Spoon's Britt Daniel and New Bomb Turks' Sam Brown. A debut album is due out later this year on Merge Records and after the jump, check out a video preview of the project.
