Win Tix To School Of Seven Bells At Le Poisson Rouge On May 5

School of Seven Bells is just the duo of Benjamin Curtis and Alejandra Deheza now, after Deheza's twin sister Claudia quit in 2010 for rather cryptic reasons. Despite the split, SVIIB's layered, luminous dream-pop remains as powerful on the band's third album, Ghostory which was released in February. The Alternate Side is giving away tickets to see the New York based band, joined by Exitmusic, at Le Poisson Rouge on May 5.

Win tickets to see both bands, with opener Sun Airway, a dreamy pop band from Philly.

TAS In Session: School of Seven Bells

Major changes for School of Seven Bells last week as the trio became a duo after Claudia Deheza quit the band for "personal reasons," leaving her twin sister Alejandra Deheza and Benjamin Curtis to continue on their own.  Surprising, considering the three had told The Alternate Side's Alisa Ali during their Studio A session this past summer that Disconnect From Desire, their sophomore album, was a breakthrough, bonding experience for the band. Check out one of their last performances as a trio as they tackle "Bye Bye Bye," "I L U." and "Dust Devils."
