Radiohead has announced additional North American tour dates with more East Coast stops, including two New York area shows in Newark, NJ on May 31 and June 1.

Radiohead, who will be headlining Coachella on April 14 and April 21, have added three more dates to their sold-out Stateside tour, which begins February 27 in Miami.

Coachella garnered some grumbles when it was announced the festival would stretch over two weekends, but today's Facebook  announcement of a strong lineup of Radiohead, Pulp, Bon Iver, the reunited At The Drive-In, The Black Keys, M83, Dr. Dre with Snoop Dogg, Florence and the Machine, The Shins, M83 and many more should appease fans. Radiohead Say They're NOT Playing On Behalf Of Occupy Wall Street on 9/30

As first reported by Gawker and confirmed by the organizers of Occupy Wall Street, Radiohead will play a not-so-surprise show this afternoon, September 30, at 4 p.m., likely around Liberty Plaza. UPDATE: As of 1:30 p.m. today, the NME and Wall Street Journal report that an offiical spokesperson for Radiohead has denied that the band will perform. UPDATE: Just after 3 p.m., Radiohead posted on their Facebook page that "contrary to earlier rumours, we will not be appearing today at Occupy Wall Street."

The band is not only headed to New York to do "Saturday Night Live" and "The Colbert Report" this week, but Thom Yorke and company will also play two shows at Roseland, September 28 and 29. Tickets go on sale this Monday, September 26, at 10 a.m. Expect online bedlam if you try to score a pair.

Radiohead's summertime project of releasing a  series of 12-inch remixes of other artists' takes on tracks from The King of Limbs will expand further with the release of a 19-track double CD/download, due out this October. Radiohead Distribute Free Newspaper To Mark Album Release
