MGMT Announces A Spring Tour

It's been three years since the release of MGMT's Congratuations, but Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden are back. MGMT will embark on a spring tour of North America as a preamble to third album, likely released this summer. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, March 6, at 12 p.m. (local times) for the first spate of dates, kicking off with a free show on April 26 at Penn State in State College, PA.

Jack White, My Morning Jacket, MGMT Salute Public Radio Music Month

April marks Public Radio Music Month, an event that's not gone unnoticed by musicians and bands like Jack White, My Morning Jacket, MGMT, Best Coast, the Roots, Passion Pit and Wye Oak or indie labels like Jagjaguwar and Sub Pop. They have all signed an open letter thanking public radio stations for "taking chances" and "asking intelligent questions" about music.

The folks behind the Lollapalooza festival have revealed the event's 2010 lineup with the reunited Soundgarden, Broadway's Green Day, Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga, Phoenix and The Strokes as headliners.
