Lucy Rose: North American Tour Blog

Fans of Bombay Bicycle Club became familiar with Lucy Rose as the fetching vocalist backing Jack Steadman, but the 23-year-old, flame-haired singer has struck out on her own. She signed, impressively, with Columbia Records last year and released her tender and wistful debut, Like I Used To, in September in the UK. Her EP, Middle of the Bed, is out now in the States. Lucy Rose, who begins a UK tour tomorrow, April 19recently embarked on her first North American road trip — including a stop at SXSW — and blogged about her adventures for The Alternate Side.

Win Tix To Bombay Bicycle Club At MHOW On March 3

Bombay Bicycle Club's handsome new album, A Different Kind of Fix, was just "officially" released in the U.S this month, but the record, which came out in 2011 in the UK and Europe and digitally in the States, topped many critics' lists as one of the best releases of the year. The London band returns to New York for two dates this March, bringing along their frequent collaborator, the excellent Lucy Rose, and Toronto rockers The Darcys as openers. The Alternate Side is giving away tickets to BBB's Music Hall of Williamsburg gig on March 3.
