Quirky Welsh rockers Los Campesinos! played two gigs at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg over the weekend, midway through their North American tour which wraps October 27 in Iowa City.  TAS critic Eleanor Kagan observes that this amiable, edgy, crowd-pleasing nonet, supporting their latest album Romance Is Boring, is a living, breathing Facebook of sorts, expanding their "group of friends with each show."

The massive disruption of flights from Europe and the UK to the US thanks to the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull (and no, we can't pronounce it either), resulting in an enormous ash cloud harmful to airplanes, has also derailed the Coachella and North American tour plans of The Cribs, Frightened Rabbit, Bad Lieutenant, Delphic, Gary Numan, Los Campesinos! and many more. Los Campesinos! have rescheduled their Saturday gig at Maxwell's to Wednesday, April 21.
