Black Keys, Florence And The Machine, Muse Win Moonmen at MTV's 2010 Video Music Awards

Maybe you watched the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, maybe you didn't. To summarize it briefly:  videos by Black Keys and Florence and the Machine both won well-deserved MTV moonmen, Chelsea Handler was a perfectly awful host, Taylor Swift was dependably off-key, Lady Gaga changed outfits constantly and despite the big buildup, Kanye West was a snooze. Lollapalooza 2010 Lineup: Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, Green Day, The Strokes, Lady Gaga And Phoenix

The folks behind the Lollapalooza festival have revealed the event's 2010 lineup with the reunited Soundgarden, Broadway's Green Day, Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga, Phoenix and The Strokes as headliners. Other bands and artists include MGMT, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear, Devo, The National and the recently arrested Erykah Badu. The festival takes place August 6-8 in Chicago

Florence And The Machine, Jay-Z, Kasabian, Lady Gaga Among Brit Award Winners

The Brit Awards, the UK's equivalent of the Grammy Awards, took place in London on Tuesday night and the winners included Florence and the Machine, Kasabian, Jay-Z, newcomer Ellie Goulding and a hat trick for Lady Gaga (who walked the red carpet in what seemed to be white drapes with a lace mask and Marie Antoinette-inspired, soufflé of cotton candy on her head). Plus Dizzee Rascal and Florence Welch's "You've Got The Love" live mashup (video).
