Band Of Horses Announce Last Minute Gigs After Kings Of Leon Cancellation

Need a quick fix of Band of Horses? You're in luck. The band was left stranded when Kings of Leon suddenly cancelled their remaining tour dates which scuttled BOH's plans to open for the group. Ever perseverant, Band of Horses have announced some last minute club gigs across the country, including one at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom next Wednesday, August 10. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 5 at 12 noon, EDT.

Lucky enough to be heading out to Indio, California for this weekend's Coachella Festival? Set times and stages have been posted today, but you might have to make some anxious sprints and hard decisions, like Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti vs. The Pains of Being Pure At Heart vs. Tame Impala. What to do? If you won't be there, performances will be streamed via YouTube.

Kings of Leon, Kanye West, Arcade Fire, The Strokes To Headline Coachella

The Coachella Music and Arts Festival has unfurled its huge lineup and Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Kanye West and The Strokes will take on the mantle of headliners. The Black Keys, Interpol, Animal Collective, Mumford & Sons, PJ Harvey, Bright Eyes, Duran Duran, The National, the Chemical Brothers and even Ms. Lauryn Hill (the Ms. prefix is hers) will also appear along with dozens more. The festival will take place in Indio, California the weekend of April 15-17.
