The Kills' Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, who kick off their North American tour on January 20 in Chicago, premiered the new video for their fourth single "The Last Goodbye" today via Nowness. The clip was directed by actress Samantha Morton, twice nominated for an Oscar, and flimed in monochrome on 35mm. The Kills play New York's Terminal 5 on February 11, which marks their 10th anniversary together.

It seems that The Kills' Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince just can't stay away from New York; the lusty duo, who launch another Stateside tour in late January, return on February 11 to play Terminal 5. They're bringing along JEFF The Brotherhood who, like The Dead Weather's Mosshart, also have a Jack White connection; this past fall, White produced a single for the Nashville duo, releasing it on Third Man Records. The Alternate Side is giving away tickets to this bluesy, raucous gig ... you just need to enter by this Friday, December 23, at noon.

David Lynch Releases Mixtape Prior To Debut Album

Abstruse and surrealistic director David Lynch, who takes off on a new creative trajectory next week with the release of his first solo album, Crazy Clown Time, has released a mixtape with his collaborator and engineer "Big" Dean Hurley.  Their selection includes tracks from The Kills (covering Jonathan Fire*Eater), James Blake, Elvis Presley, Gnarls Barkley and more. Didn't get around to catching The Kills' short documentary on the making of their new album Blood Pressures that aired on IFC? To make things even easier, the movie, aptly titled "Blood Pressures,"  has just been posted to YouTube (and you can check it out after the jump).  Plus, believe or not, The Kills rather incongruously play "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" tonight, May 12.

Well, if you're not sated by your fix of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, you can catch the duo's short film Blood Pressures, debuting today, May 3, on IFC. The short documentary, named after the duo's new album, features interviews and live performances of "The Last Goodbye," "Pots and Pans" and "Baby Says." Tickets for their T5 show on August 8 go on sale today at noon, May 3.

Jack White has been careering around Austin in his lemon-drop gold Third Man Rolling Record Store van, so it wasn't surprising to learn that, like the Foo Fighters last night, he sneaked in a surprise two-song set this afternoon, March 16. And he even played a White Stripes tune.

The Kills, who announced last week that their fourth album Blood Pressures will drop on April 5 on Domino, have revealed a lengthy list of tour dates in North America and Europe. The duo will kick everything off at SXSW in Austin this March. Pre-sale begins today, January 18.
