Watch Holy Ghost!'s Not-So-Dumb New Video

New York dance duo Holy Ghost! are busy conjuring a new album, Dynamics, for a fall release. However, just in time for summer, comes the pair's breezy new song, "Dumb Disco Ideas" accompanied by a cheeky, low-budget video with an impressive (and free) skyline. Holy Ghost! play the Governor's Ball Festival in June and, in a smart match, kick off a tour with New Order in July which includes a stop at Williamsburg Park. Watch Holy Ghost!'s video here.

Watch Holy Ghost!'s Teaser Video For 'It Gets Dark'

The electronic duo of Brooklyn's Holy Ghost!, Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel, will release a new single, "It Gets Dark" on October 6 via DFA Records. Although it's still a bit vague as to where the new song fits into the band's overall plans for a second album,  it's nice to have them back in such fine form. And they've provided a handy teaser video with a sampling of the new single too.

TAS Interview: Holy Ghost!

LCD Soundsystem might be saying adieu this week, but Holy Ghost!, a New York band that boasts a DFA Records pedigree and James Murphy's mentorship, are on the ascent. The duo of Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser, who drop their euphoric debut on April 5 on iTunes and physically on April 12, play two shows this week at Terminal 5, one poignantly conflicting with LCD Soundsystem's last show. The Alternate Side caught up with Millhiser and chatted about the new record, five of Holy Ghost!'s essential albums and what it means to say farewell to LCD Soundsystem ... for now. Plus, a free download of "Wait & See" from the album.
