Whether you're a fan of the Foo Fighters or not - and there's much good to be said about the blistering Wasting Light - you can't help but love Dave Grohl and his bandmates for releasing what might be the greatest, tongue-in-cheek (and truthful) tour rider making the rounds today. Entitled "The Field Guide To Food Coloring Book and Activity Pages," the rider has become a huge viral hit on The Smoking Gun and it's pretty funny. Links and highlights after the jump.

Lollapalooza Taps Foo Fighters, Eminem, Muse and Coldplay

This year's lineup for Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival was announced last night, April 25, and while Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Muse might not be the most creative of headlining choices, the presence of bands like My Morning Jacket, Bright Eyes, Arctic Monkeys, Cults, Friendly Fires, Cold War Kids, Beirut, The Kills and Crystal Castles should make for an interesting weekend. Lollapalooza takes place from August 5-7 and three-day passes are still available.

Jack White Plays Surprise SXSW Gig

Jack White has been careering around Austin in his lemon-drop gold Third Man Rolling Record Store van, so it wasn't surprising to learn that, like the Foo Fighters last night, he sneaked in a surprise two-song set this afternoon, March 16. And he even played a White Stripes tune.
