Coldplay Debut "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall"

Coldplay, who've become a love-them-or-loathe-them kind of band, released their new single, "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall." today, June 3, on iTunes. The song's title of the track might well describe the four-minute track: lyrically mundane, kind of mawkish, but distantly pretty and, surprise, it's very nearly dance-friendly. This year's lineup for Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival was announced last night, April 25, and while Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Muse might not be the most creative of headlining choices, the presence of bands like My Morning Jacket, Bright Eyes, Arctic Monkeys, Cults, Friendly Fires, Cold War Kids, Beirut, The Kills and Crystal Castles should make for an interesting weekend. Lollapalooza takes place from August 5-7 and three-day passes are still available.
