Video: Austra Debuts Surreal "Lose It"

Toronto's Austra, the art-rock guise of the classically-trained Katie Stelmanis, has unveiled the video to their second single, "Lose It," from the band's debut album, Feel It Break, out on May 17 via Domino. Austra, who play a private event at the Whitney Museum this Saturday, May 7, will also play New York's Mercury Lounge on May 23 and tour with Cold Cave this July.

The Kills Debut Short Film On IFC

Still thinking about The Kills' terrific set at New York's Terminal 5 on Friday? Well, if you're not sated by your fix of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, you can catch the duo's short film Blood Pressures, debuting today, May 3, on IFC. The short documentary, named after the duo's new album, features interviews and live performances of "The Last Goodbye," "Pots and Pans" and "Baby Says." Tickets for their T5 show on August 8 go on sale today at noon, May 3.

The Kills Announce Spring 2011 Dates

The Kills, who announced last week that their fourth album Blood Pressures will drop on April 5 on Domino, have revealed a lengthy list of tour dates in North America and Europe. The duo will kick everything off at SXSW in Austin this March. Pre-sale begins today, January 18.
