Beck, Passion Pit, Modest Mouse, Santigold Among Acts Set For Governors Ball Music Festival

New York's Governors Ball Music Festival has announced a pretty stellar lineup for this summer, including Beck, Passion Pit, Modest Mouse, Santigold, Built To Spill, Explosions in the Sky and Special Disco Version, featuring LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Pat Mahoney. Tickets for the festival, which takes place June 23-24 on Randall's Island Park, go on limited pre-sale tomorrow, February 22 and general sale on Friday, February 24.

Vampire Weekend, Bright Eyes Headline MTK Festival in East Hamptons

Okay, a fine reason to endure the Hampton jitney this summer: Vampire Weekend and Bright Eyes will headline the MTK: Music To Know Festival on August 13-14 in East Hampton, Long Island with Cold War Kids, Chromeo, Tame Impala, Matt & Kim, Ra Ra Riot, The Naked and Famous, M. Ward and more joining the lineup. Tickets go on sale today, May 10.

Montréal's Chromeo, who launch their "Risky Business" North American tour on January 20 and have already sold out their upcoming February gig at Terminal 5, will bolster their road trip with the exclusive iTunes release of "Live From Montréal," a live studio session, on January 18. Plus Dave 1 and P-Thugg have released a download of the Duck Sauce remix of "Hot Mess," featuring La Roux's Elly Jackson.

Jelly NYC's Final Pool Party Show Abruptly Cancelled

Bad news if you were hoping to see Delorean and Dominique Young Unique play the final Jelly NYC Pool Party at East River State Park on August 29. The gig, the last of the Pool Parties for this summer, has been axed by the Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn (OSA), due to what they allege are "continuing unmet financial obligations of the event's promoter."

Lollapalooza 2010 Lineup: Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, Green Day, The Strokes, Lady Gaga And Phoenix

The folks behind the Lollapalooza festival have revealed the event's 2010 lineup with the reunited Soundgarden, Broadway's Green Day, Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga, Phoenix and The Strokes as headliners. Other bands and artists include MGMT, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear, Devo, The National and the recently arrested Erykah Badu. The festival takes place August 6-8 in Chicago
