Influential Folk Guitarist Bert Jansch Dead at 67

Bert Jansch, one of the most influential figures in the British folk and rock scene, died early on Wednesday morning, October 5, in London after a long battle with cancer. Jansch, one of the original founders of Pentangle, inspired a wide range of artists over the last fifty years, from Paul Simon to Led Zeppelin to Laura Marling. He was 67.
