It's been a heartbreaker of a month for indie rock stars. In mid-October, the long, 27-year marriage of Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon came to an end and on Tuesday, November 1, Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard and She & Him's Zooey Deschanel announced that they're splitting after a two year marriage.
