Northside Festival Adds Body/Head, Majical Cloudz, Bleached And More

The Northside Festival has added Kim Gordon and Bill Nace's Body/Head, Majical Cloudz, Bleached, A Place To Bury Strangers, Chance the Rapper, Young Magic and a long list of other bands to a lineup that already includes The Walkmen, Son Volt, Swans, the reformed Black Flag (Greg Ginn and the Jealous Again lineup) and more. The festival takes place June 13-16 and FUV's The Alternate Side will co-present Lambchop's show on June 16.

Pablo Díaz-Reixa, better known as El Guincho, made his mark with 2008's gleeful mélange of textures and rhythms, Alegranza!, but he's found his stride in an even more impressive way with his latest release, Pop Negro. Not long ago he dropped by The Alternate Side to play "Bombay" and "FM Tan Sexy" from the new record.
