Jungle: FUV Live

Tags: Jungle

The funked-out, falsetto-driven songs of London's Jungle offer up the perfect summertime soundtrack, brimming with sleek harmonies and soulful anthems. The two boyhood friends still stubbornly adhere to some anonymity; they prefer to be called J and T. But as a touring collective of five (or seven) members, Jungle is boldly uncloaked. This summer, the pair finally released their self-titled debut album on XL Recordings and on October 2, they return to New York for a show at Irving Plaza. Not long ago, Jungle ventured to the Bronx to play a mini-set for WFUV. Watch videos from their performance in Studio A, listen to the session now in the FUV Vault or via TAS on 91.5 WNYE today, September 5, at 11a.m. EDT, also streaming online.
