Kate Bush Returns For First Live Show In 35 Years

The ecstatic return of Kate Bush to the stage on Tuesday night at London's Hammersmith Apollo (where she played her last show in 1979) was a triumph for the singer and her devoted fans. The three-hour concert, the first of 22 sold-out shows through October 1, was audacious, artistically bold and deeply moving and Bush's voice was agreed to be utterly flawless. The set not only included some of Bush's well-known songs like "Cloudbusting" and "Running Up That Hill" from 1985's Hounds of Love, but also the "The Ninth Wave" suite from that same album and the entire "Sky of Honey" suite from 2005's Aerial. Read a Kate Bush roundup of some of the reviews and her set list here.
