The Alternate Side's mother station WFUV usually gets about a half-million dollars every year from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. But this time around we have to meet a higher threshold of listener support in order to get that money from the CPB. That means we have to raise more money than ever before and if we don’t, we’ll lose out on more money than ever before.
