What do you do once you form a supergroup and release an album? Well, you take the show on the road. Divine Fits, the trio of Spoon's Britt Daniel, Dan Boeckner (ex of Handsome Furs and Wolf Parade) and New Bomb Turks' Sam Brown, will officially kick off their first U.S, tour on October 16.
The band, which plays Music Hall of Williamsburg this Sunday, September 9, will also return to the city for a gig at Webster Hall on October 21. Oepning for the U.S. trek is Cold Cave, which has a brand new lineup.
Divine Fits released its spiky debut, A Thing Called Divine Fits, last week on Merge Records; the album is streaming now on Divine Fits' site.
