Listen To Blur's New Songs 'Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan'

If you had better things to do yesterday than await the livestream of Blur debuting new songs "Under the Westway" and "The Puritan" on a mysterious rooftop in west London, check out official "lyric" videos of the songs below.

Immediately after playing the songs — at 1:15 p.m. EDT and 2:15 p.m. EDT — Blur made the tracks, the band's first new material since 2010 and marking their appearance at the Olympic closing ceremonies in August, available for digital purchase. A 7-inch single of the songs will also be available on August 6.

As The Alternate Side reported earlier, Blur will play a small UK tour leading up to its appearance in London's Hyde Park on August 12 with New Order, the Specials and Bombay Bicycle Club.
