Divine Fits Gets Real About A Debut Single

Divine Fits, the super trio of Spoon's Britt Daniel, former Handsome Furs and Wolf Parade member  Dan Boeckner and Sam Brown of New Bomb Turks, has made their debut single, "My Love Is Real,"  available for fans' streaming pleasure if you "like" their Facebook page.

The 7-inch single, backed by the non-album B-side "I Was Born In A Laundromat," will be released by Merge Records on July 31 and is available for pre-order now.

"My Love Is Real," an upbeat, frosty slice of Japan-reminiscent synth pop, is the first song to be released off of Divine Fits debut album, due out later this year on Merge in the States, Universal in Canada and Anti- in Europe. The album was produced by PiL and Nick Cave veteran Nick Launay.
