Yeasayer Get Fragrant For New Album This August

Working the old-fashioned way, via snail mail, Yeasayer sent out CDs (and offered up a free download) of a new single called "Henrietta" to fans last week amid strong indications that a new album was on the way.

Now it's official, thanks to a cover story the band did with Under The Radar. Yeasayer will release Fragrant World on August 21 via Secretly Canadian. 

“We definitely try to capture the schizophrenia of what it’s like to be alive today,” says Yeasayer's Anand Wilder of the new record.

The band had previously announced tour dates this summer.
