The xx, on the brink of releasing its yet-to-be-titled second album, has announced additional tour dates that take the trio to North America for a few shows, including a stop at New York's Terminal 5 on August 2.
Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith had announced a batch of European and UK dates earlier. At a handful of London gigs earlier this month, they played new material, including a track that some fans have dubbed "As I Am" (video below). It's pensive, hushed, spare and, well, an xx track.
Rodaidh McDonald, who produced the band's first album, again helms this record.
