My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird Salute The Muppets and Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks Streaming Now on NPR Music

Two excellent new albums are available for your streaming pleasure right now on NPR Music's First Listen series. The first, Muppets: The Green Album, features My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird, Weezer and more saluting Jim Henson's crew with covers of Kermit-and-Miss Piggy classics. The second album streaming now is Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks' Mirror Traffic, out on August 23 on Matador (and August 22 on Domino in the UK).

The Muppets album, which will be released on August 23, can be found here while Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, produced by Beck, can be enjoyed here. 

UPDATE: OK Go has released video for "The Muppets Show" theme song the week of the album's release.
