Feist Returns With A New Album This October

It has been four years since Leslie Feist released her bold, eccentric breakthrough album The Reminder, but after a few hints via videos on her site over the last week, the Canadian singer has finally announced the upcoming release of her new album, Metals, due out on October 4 via Cherrytree/Interscope.

The album, recorded in Big Sur, California, was co-produced by Feist , her longtime producer and musician pals Chilly Gonzales and Mocky (Dominic Giancarlo Salole) as well as Bjórk collaborator Valgeir Sigurðsson.

A series of video vignettes (one eerie, the other a studio clip) will tease the album's impending release via Feist's site. Below is the second video, featuring Feist, Gonzales, Sigurðsson and Mocky at work on a snippet of a song.
