Okkervil River, The Hold Steady, Wye Oak Tapped For Truck America Festival

The UK-born Truck Festival will make its second appearance Stateside this summer, with Okkervil River, The Hold Steady, Wye Oak and Ra Ra Riot among the first bands announced for the Truck America event, which takes place September 9-11 in the bucolic Catskills at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York.

An estimated 30 more bands and comedians will be revealed in the coming weeks for Truck America's three day extravaganza which launched last spring.

Early bird tickets are on sale now and the price for the first 200 people who order passes is pretty reasonable; just $99 for three days (plus extra costs for lodging).

The British version of the festival, founded by Robin and Joe Bennett, is in its 14th year. That festival takes place July 22-24 at Hill Farm in Steventon, Oxfordshire and the lineup includes Saint Etienne, Gruff Rhys, Graham Coxon, Justin Townes Earle and Radiohead's Phil Selway.
