Arcade Fire To Release Deluxe Edition of The Suburbs

Arcade Fire will re-release their critically-acclaimed, Grammy-winning album The Suburbs in a deluxe edition this August with previously unreleased tracks (including a David Byrne guest spot), a DVD of the Spike Jonze short film "Scenes From The Suburbs" and accompanying documentary, and an 80-page booklet with lyrics and photos.

The updated CD/DVD of The Suburbs will drop on Merge Records on August 2.

According to the Merge Records site, additional tracks included an expanded version of "Wasted Hours (A Life That We Can Live),"  the unreleased "Culture Wars" and "Speaking in Tongues," which features David Byrne.

The booklet, chock full of lyrics, will also include photos taken during the making of "Scenes From The Suburbs."

Arcade Fire have an array of upcoming US tour and festival dates, including Bonnaroo, but will spending the bulk of their summer in Europe on the festival circuit, including Ireland's Electric Picnic, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and a date with Mumford & Sons in London's Hyde Park on June 30.
