Lollapalooza Taps Foo Fighters, Eminem, Muse and Coldplay

This year's lineup for Chicago's Lollapalooza Festival was announced last night, April 25, and while Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Muse might not be the most creative of headlining choices, the presence of bands like My Morning Jacket, Bright Eyes, Arctic Monkeys, Cults, Cold War Kids, Friendly Fires, Beirut, The Kills and Crystal Castles should make for an interesting weekend. Lollapalooza takes place from August 5-7 and three-day passes are still available.

Other bands and artists include Deadmau5, Ratatat, Sleigh Bells, Smith Westerns, the reunited The Cars and Big Audio Dynamite, Local Natives, Explosions in the Sky, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Damian Marley and Nas, The Joy Formidable, Manchester Orchestra, Ellie Goulding (who will be making her SNL debut in May), Lykke Li, Best Coast, Tinie Tempah, Foster the People, The Naked and Famous, Tennis, Ween, A Perfect Circle, White Lies, Two Door Cinema Club, Wye Oak and Noah and the Whale.
