Foals Return To North America This Fall

Mutable rockers Foals, who have not toured Stateside since the release of their second album Total Life Forever on Sub Pop, have finally announced dates for a fall trek, including a gig at New York's Bowery Ballroom on October 1. They will also play the Austin City Limits festival on October 10.

The Oxford, England quintet have gathered bushels of critical kudos for their smart and expansive sophomore record which treads a far more lush, emotional terrain than their brash, astringent 2008 debut Antidotes. Not surprisingly, the band is tirelessly working the global festival circuit this summer, bouncing between festivals on many continents, from Australia's Splendour in the Grass to Fuji Rock in Japan to Reading and Leeds in the UK.
